1. The working principle of wet wood log biomass pellet processing equipment
Pelletizing equipment is the core of pellet processing. It mechanically compresses dried wood chips into dense cylindrical pellets.
(1)Core equipment: Ring die pellet machine (mainstream).
(2)Ring die pellet machine principle:Dried wood chips enter the pelletizing chamber through a feeder and are pushed between the ring die and the press rollers by a stirring paddle.
The ring die (with evenly distributed holes in the inner wall, 6-12 mm in diameter) is stationary, while the press rollers (two to three with a patterned surface) rotate at high speed, applying pressure (up to 50-100 MPa) to the wood chips.
Under high pressure, the wood fibers undergo plastic deformation and hydrogen bonding (no adhesive is required; the wood's own lignin softens under the heat generated by the extrusion friction, acting as a natural adhesive). The wood chips are then extruded through the die holes to form continuous cylindrical strips.
The strips are cut by a cutter on the outside of the ring die, forming pellets 20-50 mm in length.
2. Characteristics of wet wood log biomass pellet processing equipment
(1) Broad spectrum processing capability: Processable raw materials include wood (logs, wood chips, sawdust), crops (straw, rice husks, corn cobs), herbs (reeds, forage grass), etc. By adjusting the crushing and pulverizing parameters, it can adapt to raw materials of different hardness and fiber content (for example, hardwood requires stronger crushing capacity, and straw needs to control the pulverization particle size to prevent agglomeration).
(2) Clear requirements for raw material pretreatment: The raw material moisture content must be controlled at 8%-15% (too high will easily cause adhesion and mold clogging, too low will result in insufficient particle strength), and the particle size is usually required to be 1-3mm. Therefore, the equipment system often integrates drying and screening modules to ensure that the raw materials meet the standards.

(1) Modular combination: A typical production line consists of "crushing equipment (coarse crushing) → grinding equipment (fine crushing) → drying equipment (humidity control) → granulating equipment (molding) → cooling equipment (cooling) → screening equipment (selection) → packaging equipment". 3.Sawdust Storage Process:
A. This process is mainly used to storage the sawdust that comes out of the hammer mill.It is hydraulic galvanized storage bin which is more stalbe and sawdust in it is not easy to be blocked.
B. The customer chooses one TONY Brand Sawdust Storage to storage the sawdust that comes out of the hammer mill.This process can be optional by customer.If customer do not chose the storage bin,he can storage the sawdust on the ground directly which may need some labour.

4.Sawdust Drying Process:
A.This process is mainly used to dry the sawdust from 40% to 10-15%.

Biomass pellet fuel refers to a granular fuel made by using crops (such as straw), wood (such as wood, pine, fir, etc.), sawdust and other agricultural and forestry processing waste (such as rice husks, tree bark, furniture factory foot feed, wood powder, cotton poles, peanut shells, medicinal residue, bamboo chips, sludge, building formwork, wooden pallets, etc.) as raw materials. After being extruded by a biomass pellet machine, the crushed raw materials are made by cold compact molding and processing under normal temperature conditions using a press roller and ring mold.
1.Density: The density of raw materials is generally 0.1 - 0.13t/m³, and the particle density after forming is 1.1 - 1.4t/m³. It has a large density and small size, which is convenient for storage and transportation, and greatly improves the combustion performance of biomass.
