1. The Working Principle Of Wet Straw Biomass Pellet Processing Equipment

Wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment is used to handle wet straw and other biomass raw materials to produce pellet fuel. Due to the high moisture content of wet straw, the working principle is more complex. First, the wet straw raw materials need to go through a drying process. This can be achieved by using drying equipment such as rotary dryers or belt dryers. After reducing the moisture content to an appropriate level, usually around 10 - 20% for better pelletizing, the pre - dried wet straw is chopped by shredders and other pretreatment equipment. Then, it is pressed through the pelletizing machine. During the pressing process, compared with dry - straw processing, adjustments in pressure and temperature might be required because the remaining moisture can affect the material's plasticity and flowability. Finally, pellet biomass fuel that meets quality standards is produced.

2. Characteristics Of Wet Straw Biomass Pellet Processing Equipment

(1) Wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment generally has relatively high energy consumption. The drying process, which is essential for Wet straw processing, consumes a significant amount of energy. However, with the development of energy - efficient drying technologies, such as heat - pump - assisted drying and waste - heat utilization drying systems, efforts are being made to optimize energy consumption. Despite the high - energy - consuming drying step, once the wet straw is properly dried and processed, it can still be efficiently turned into fuel pellets, but the overall energy input is higher than that for dry - straw processing.

(2) The biomass pellet machine for Wet straw also has good material adaptability. Although wet straw has different physical properties compared to dry - straw due to moisture, the pellet machine can still handle it. It is equipped with molds of various specifications. When dealing with Wet straw, considering its fiber structure which may be softened by moisture and its thickness characteristics, an appropriate mold can be selected. The moisture in wet straw can make the material more cohesive in a certain way, but also more likely to cause problems like mold sticking during processing. However, with proper mold design and process control, stable pellet formation can be achieved.

(3) The design of Wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment has to take into account the challenges posed by wet materials. Special anti - corrosion measures are often adopted in the equipment because the wet environment can easily cause corrosion of metal parts. The drying, chopping, and pelletizing processes need to be well - coordinated to ensure stable output and high - quality finished pellets. The pre - drying process plays a crucial role in making the wet straw suitable for the compression process in the pelletizing machine. Although Wet straw processing is more difficult, the mature design of the equipment can overcome these challenges to a large extent, ensuring that the pellets have stable molding and meet quality requirements.

(4) Wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment has a certain degree of automation, but the operation is more complex compared to dry - straw processing. Workers need to be trained to operate the drying equipment, monitor the moisture content accurately, and adjust the parameters of the pelletizing machine according to the state of the wet straw. The equipment is designed to simplify the operation as much as possible, but the handling of wet materials still requires more attention and operation steps. For example, the feeding speed of wet straw may need to be adjusted according to its moisture content to ensure smooth processing.

3. Application Scenarios Of Wet Straw Biomass Pellet Processing Equipment

(1) Domestic Solid Fuel: After proper processing into pellets, Wet straw fuel can be used for home heating. Although the initial wet state of the straw may pose challenges in storage, the processed pellets are relatively easy to store and use. To ensure long - term usability, it is necessary to store them in a dry and well - ventilated place. The processed Wet straw pellets are hygienic and safe for domestic use. They can provide a clean and convenient heating solution for rural and suburban households, especially in areas with abundant Wet straw resources.

(2) The Main Solid Fuel For Industrial Boilers: Wet straw biomass pellets can be used to replace raw coal, heavy oil, and gas in industrial boilers, contributing to reducing air pollution. Similar to dry - straw biomass fuel, Wet straw pellets also have a relatively low sulfur content. After being processed into pellets, for every 10,000 tons of Wet straw biomass fuel burned, it can replace a certain amount of standard coal. Although the exact replacement ratio and emission reduction data may vary due to the different energy - density and combustion characteristics of Wet straw compared to dry - straw, it still plays a role in reducing SO₂ emissions, smoke and dust emissions, and carbon dioxide emissions. In industrial boiler applications, the stable supply of Wet straw biomass pellets can help industrial enterprises meet environmental protection requirements while reducing fuel costs.

(3) Thermal Power Generation: The fuel calorific value of Wet straw pellets can reach a certain range, although it may be affected by the moisture content and the type of straw. In areas with abundant Wet straw resources, it can be considered as an option for thermal power generation. The pre - drying process helps to improve the calorific value of the Wet straw before it is used for power generation. By optimizing the processing technology and combustion conditions, Wet straw biomass pellets can contribute to the sustainable development of the power generation industry. Power plants can use Wet straw biomass pellets as a supplementary or alternative fuel source, reducing their reliance on traditional fossil fuels and promoting a more diversified energy structure.

In simple terms, Wet straw biomass pellet fuel also has the characteristics of being "environmentally friendly", "energy - saving" (although with higher initial energy input for drying), "renewable", and "with low carbon emissions". Biomass fuel made from Wet straw is a renewable energy source that can play an important role in replacing coal. From the perspectives of cost (especially when raw material is abundant), energy conservation in the long run, and environmental protection, Wet straw biomass fuel, with proper processing, can be a competitive alternative to coal.

TONY Detailed Design 3D Layout With Detailed Size For 5-6Ton/Hour Wet Straw Line According To Cusomer Factor Size

1. With the increasingly severe energy and environmental crisis, biomass energy, as a renewable and clean energy source, has received growing attention. Taking crop straw as an example, its potential for in - depth development is enormous. There are various ways to utilize biomass, and processing biomass into compressed pellet fuel is an advanced approach to biomass utilization. The sulfur content in biomass pellet fuel is less than one - tenth of that in coal. Replacing coal combustion with it can effectively reduce the emission of sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere, and the ash generated after combustion is an excellent natural fertilizer. At present, the gasification combustion of biomass pellets is a clean and environmentally friendly combustion mode, which is of great significance for reducing pollution emissions and protecting the atmospheric environment.

2. Crop straw, as an extremely important resource in agricultural production, is very common in rural areas and exists in huge quantities. For a long time, there has been a lack of good treatment methods for straw. If it is burned on - site, it will cause pollution to the environment. However, choosing straw as the raw material for biomass pellets results in extremely low raw material costs. If there are a large number of straw resources in or around the area, the raw material cost can be almost negligible.

3. Biomass fuel is not only environmentally friendly but also provides an option for the country's energy needs. The market demand for biomass fuel is constantly increasing, and the price of biomass pellet energy made from straw is also rising steadily. For entrepreneurial projects, there is a considerable profit margin. Therefore, using straw to produce biomass pellets has multiple benefits. Besides protecting the environment and helping to solve employment problems, it can also bring considerable economic benefits and ensure the sustainability of energy.

1. High Calorific Value

The calorific value of straw-based biomass pellet fuel after combustion is higher, and its ash content is generally lower than that of some traditional fuels. Although the calorific value may be a little lower than high-quality coal, it burns more thoroughly under normal combustion conditions. In contrast, in practical applications, the overall energy release efficiency of straw pellets can be quite competitive.

2. Excellent Ignition Performance

Straw biomass pellets are easier to ignite than coal. The fiber structure of the straw makes it easier to accept the ignition source, greatly reducing the ignition time required to start the combustion process. This feature makes it more convenient for use in various heating and power generation systems.

3. Less Solid Emissions

The solid emission of straw biomass pellet fuel is much lower than that of coal. The solid residue is mainly net ash, which only accounts for about 0.4% ~ 7.0% of the total weight. Coal combustion, by contrast, produces a complex mixture of ash, alkali, and unburned coal, which accounts for about 25 to 40 percent of the total weight. Reducing solid emissions can not only reduce waste disposal costs, but also reduce environmental pollution.

4. Less Air pollution And Corrosion

The degree of air pollution and equipment corrosion of coal is much greater than that of dry straw biomass pellet fuel. Soot contains a large amount of granular carbon and toxic corrosive gases such as so2 and CO. Straw biomass pellet fuel is mainly composed of organic matter. Its flue gas contains no particulate carbon and very little sulfur dioxide gas. Instead, it mainly releases volatile gases with relatively simple compositions. Its sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide emissions are almost zero. When burned, the smoke color is less than Ringelmann grade 1. This greatly reduces air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions, and straw biomass pellet fuel is known as a "clean fuel" in the energy field.

5. Save Money And Time

The use of straw pellet fuel for boiler operation is lower in cost and time compared to coal. Since dry straw is a common agricultural by-product, its raw material costs are extremely low. In many rural areas where straw resources are abundant, the cost of obtaining raw materials is almost negligible.

6.Continuous Combustion

The continuous combustion time of straw biomass pellet fuels is typically 8 to 10 times longer than that of soft bulk materials. The granular form of the straw allows for a more stable and continuous state of combustion. This ensures a more reliable energy supply, making it suitable for use in continuously operating energy generation facilities such as small power plants or industrial boilers.
