1. The working principle of dried sunflower husk biomass pellet processing equipment

The core of processing dried sunflower husks into biomass pellets is to omit the initial drying process and directly compress the loose material into high-density solid pellets through extrusion molding. The equipment works on the principle of high-pressure molding. The material is fed into a ring die with mold holes, and the pressure rollers force the material into the mold holes under high pressure to form a columnar body. Then, the cutter cuts it to a set length (3-10mm) to finally form biomass pellets.

1. Raw Material Research: 

Confirm the local annual sunflower seed shell production, supply channels (e.g., the number of nut factories in the vicinity), and transportation radius (ideally no more than 50 kilometers to reduce freight costs) to ensure a stable supply of raw materials.

2. Market Research: 

Understand the local and surrounding area demand for biomass pellets (e.g., the purchase volume and price of nearby factories and heating companies) to avoid overcapacity; simultaneously confirm the transportation radius of the pellet fuel (usually no more than 300 kilometers, otherwise freight costs will be too high).

3. Policy Research:

1. Wide range of applications: 

They can directly replace coal and natural gas for industrial heating (e.g., steam supply for food processing and textile mills), residential heating (rural homestays and self-built houses in northern China), power generation (small and medium-sized biomass power plants), and even as raw material for biomass gasification furnaces, adapting to energy needs of varying scales.

2. Convenient storage and transportation: 

The pellets are regularly cylindrical (3-10mm in length), producing no dust or odor. They can be stored in bags or in bulk, requiring no dedicated moisture-proof warehouses (moisture content <12%, natural ventilation is sufficient). They occupy little space during transportation and can be transported by ordinary trucks, resulting in logistics costs more than 50% lower than bulk biomass.

3. Low barrier to entry: 

No complex pretreatment is required; they can be directly added to compatible equipment for combustion.
