(1) Industrial boiler fuel: It can directly replace coal and natural gas and be used for boiler heating in the food processing, textile, chemical and other industries. Its sulfur content during combustion is less than 0.05%, which is much lower than coal (usually 0.5%-3%). How to use the TONY pellet production line to make pellets from dried bagasse?

The process mainly includes the following steps and equipment:

1. Use TONY effective hammer mill to crush the slightly larger bagasse into 8-14 mm bagasse.If customer has enough Investment budget,he can also chose TONY Special Cutting Machine for bagasse which will be more expensive than the hammer mill.

2.Use TONY large hydraulic storage silo to storage  8-14 mm bagasse.

3. Use TONY vertical ring die pellet machine to produce pellets with a diameter of 6-8 mm.

4. Use TONY galvanized pellets cooler to cool the pellets from 80-90°C to 20-30°C.

2.Bagasse Storage Process:

A. This process is mainly used to storage the bagasse that comes out of the hammer mill.It is hydraulic galvanized storage bin which is more stalbe and Bagasse in it is not easy to be blocked. 

B. The customer chooses TONY Brand Large Hydraulic Storage Silo to storage the bagasse  that comes out of  the hammer mill.This process can be optional by customer.If customer do not chose the storage bin,he can storage the Bagasse on the ground directly which may need some labour.

Operational Advantages of Dry Bagasse Biomass Pellet Processing Projects

1. Low production costs: 

The raw material (bagasse) is mostly "waste" from sugar and ethanol plants, making procurement costs extremely low. Bagasse also has a loose fiber structure, requiring no complex pretreatment (e.g., it's easier to crush than wood chips or straw). Processing it into pellets requires relatively low energy and equipment investment, resulting in overall production costs significantly lower than wood chip and straw pellets.

2. Low transportation and storage costs: 

The pellets have a high density (8-10 times that of raw bagasse) and a significantly smaller volume. For the same weight, they require only 1/10 the transportation space of raw bagasse, reducing transportation costs by over 70%. Furthermore, the pellets have a low moisture content (typically ≤15%), making them less susceptible to mold and mildew. They don't require special moisture-proofing during storage, resulting in low storage costs and minimal waste. 

3. Competitive user costs: 

The calorific value of bagasse pellets is approximately 16-18MJ/kg (equivalent to 0.6-0.7kg of standard coal). Although slightly lower than high-quality bituminous coal (20-25MJ/kg), considering that its purchase price is usually only 60%-80% of that of coal, the overall cost of use is more competitive for users such as industrial boilers and residential heating.
