1. The working principle of wet EFB biomass pellet processing equipment
Wet EFB biomass pellet processing equipment is used to chop, crush, dry, and compress bunches of wet EFB and other biomass materials into pellet fuel. Its working principle is to first crush, pulverize, and dry the wet EFB through pre-processing equipment such as crushers, grinders, and dryers, and then press them into pellets in a pelletizer to produce pelletized biomass fuel that meets quality standards.
2. Characteristics of wet EFB biomass pellet processing equipment
(1) The motor shaft and the gear shaft are directly connected, which provides stronger power transmission, greater torque resistance, higher stability and lower maintenance rate.
(2) The bearing chamber has been improved, the sealing method has been changed, and forged tempered wear-resistant materials are used to prevent dust from falling into the bearing chamber.
(3) The gearbox body is larger, the gears are larger, the output power is higher, and the power consumption is lower.
(4) The bearings use genuine heavy-duty Harbin shafts, which have longer bearing life and lower maintenance rate for the whole machine.
(5) The ring die adopts a vertical double-layer structure, with both upper and lower layers used, which improves utilization, reduces costs and increases efficiency.
(6) The pressure wheel rotates, the material is centrifuged, and the surrounding material is evenly distributed.
(7) High efficiency and energy saving, automatic timed oil supply and lubrication ensure that the bearings are fully lubricated and the operation is safer and more reliable.
(8) High-pressure filtration and clean and smooth independent frequency conversion device ensure the output of particles.
3. Application scenarios of wet EFB biomass pellet processing equipment
(1) Small and medium-sized industrial enterprises: including factories in industries such as food processing, textiles, chemicals, and building materials that require stable heat supply. The production processes of these enterprises (such as food drying, textile printing and dyeing heating, building materials maintenance, etc.) require continuous consumption of heat energy. Although the calorific value of wet EFB pellets (14-18MJ/kg) is lower than that of coal, its carbon emissions are only one-tenth of fossil fuels, and its sulfur and nitrogen emissions are extremely low, which meets the requirements of environmental protection policies. Enterprises can introduce equipment (or purchase pellets from surrounding processing points) and use pellets as boiler fuel to reduce dependence on natural gas and coal and control energy costs.
(2) Biomass energy-related places: including small and medium-sized biomass power plants, biomass heating stations, etc. Biomass power plants require fuel with "regular shape and stable moisture content" (bulk material transportation efficiency is low and combustion is unstable). Wet EFB processing equipment can process the purchased wet EFB raw materials into pellets. Some equipment is also equipped with a pre-drying device, which can reduce the moisture content of the raw materials to 10%-30%, meeting the power plant's requirements for fuel calorific value and combustion efficiency; biomass heating stations (serving industrial parks and township centralized heating) can directly use wet EFB pellets as a heat source to provide clean heating for surrounding users.

3.Wet Palm Dust Drying Process:
A.This process is mainly used to dry the palm dust from 40% to 10-15%.

Palm oil pellets are highly oily and composed of cellulose and hemicellulose lignin. They contain carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur, oxygen, and other elements, and have a water content of approximately 65%. These physical properties make palm oil extremely valuable, but also make it difficult to exploit and utilize.
Utilization of Palm Oil Fruit Bunches
Traditionally, the utilization of palm oil fruit bunches (EFBs) has been low, with several methods typically used:
1. Incineration. The ash from the EFBs can be recycled as fertilizer in plantations, but large-scale incineration is no longer permitted.
2. Returning them to the fields as mulch not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also reduces the need for artificial fertilizers by increasing the carbon sequestration rate of soil organic matter.
3. Some EFBs are sent to landfills.
Due to the limitations of traditional methods for utilizing EFBs, a significant amount of palm biomass energy is wasted. Now, with innovations in palm oil fruit bunch conversion technology, palm biomass can be successfully converted into pellet fuel for use in co-firing systems and biomass boilers to generate steam and electricity.

High calorific value and density: The high lignification level of palm kernel fibers results in pellets with a calorific value close to that of medium-grade coal, and a density of ≥1.1 g/cm³. It can directly replace fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas for use in industrial boilers (e.g., for food processing and textile dyeing), biomass power plants, and home fireplaces, without requiring major modifications to existing equipment, resulting in low conversion costs.
