1. The working principle of wet bamboo biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Crushing pretreatment stage

The wet bamboo is crushed by a bamboo crusher. The feed size is usually limited to less than 80mm in diameter. The crushed material needs to be screened to control the particle size to ensure the uniformity of the finished product.

The equipment can be equipped with motors, diesel engines or tractor power to meet the mobility needs of different operating scenarios. It is especially suitable for on-site processing in forests or fields.

(2) Drying and dehydration stage

The wet bamboo chips after crushing need to be dried to remove moisture and reduce the moisture content to 10%-15% to meet the process requirements of pellet pressing. This step usually uses a biomass hot air furnace and a drum dryer to achieve efficient dehydration by using the heat generated by burning waste.

(3) Pellet forming stage

The dried bamboo chips are fed into the pellet press through a screw conveyor and squeezed into high-density cylindrical pellets in a high-pressure mold. No binder is added during the process. The molding is achieved by relying on the thermoplasticity of the raw material's own lignin.

The finished pellets are packaged after cooling. The final calorific value can reach 4000-4800kcal/kg and the ash content is less than 1%. They can be used as fuel or industrial raw materials.

2. Characteristics of wet bamboo biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Crushing process: Various types of equipment are suitable for different processing needs. Bamboo crushers are divided into hammer type and multifunctional type, which can process materials into standardized particles of 2-5mm, meeting the fineness requirements of industries such as biomass fuel and papermaking. 

(2) Drying and molding: Connecting equipment ensures the quality of particles. The wet bamboo chips after crushing need to be reduced to 10-15% by drying unit, and then pressed by pellet machine and molded under high pressure. The drying equipment needs to be designed according to the high fiber characteristics of bamboo to ensure uniform evaporation of moisture; the molding equipment densifies the material into pellet fuel with a calorific value of 4000-4800kcal/kg through extrusion, and the ash content is controlled below 1%.

3. Application scenarios of wet bamboo biomass pellet processing equipment

Core application areas: biomass energy production and application

3.Bamboo Dust Storage Process:

A. This process is mainly used to storage the bamboo dust that comes out of the hammer mill.It is hydraulic galvanized storage bin which is more stalbe and bamboo dust in it is not easy to be blocked. 

B. The customer chooses TONY Brand Large Hydraulic Storage Silo to storage the bamboo dust  that comes out of  the hammer mill.This process can be optional by customer.If customer do not chose the storage bin,he can storage the bamboo dust on the ground directly which may need some labour.

4.Bamboo Dust Drying Process:

A.This process is mainly used to dry the bamboo dust  from 40% to 10-15%.

B.Capacity:28-35 Ton/Hour.

C.TONY use 5 sets of 2.2*24m  rotary drum dryer for this process, TONY hot blast stove is made of firebrick pan, shell with H steel plate as the frame.   There are 3 layers of fire blocking device inside, which can effectively prevent the fire from entering the tumble dryer.Customers can choose to use waste wood, biomass pellets, natural gas, etc. as fuel for the hot air furnace
