1. The working principle of wet bamboo biomass pellet processing equipment
The wet bamboo processing equipment is designed to handle bamboo with high moisture content (15%-40%), addressing the issue of clogging caused by the wet material. It utilizes a continuous process of "crushing - grinding - drying (optional)" to produce uniform bamboo powder. In the pre-treatment stage, a crusher cuts the bamboo into 5cm pieces. An efficient grinder then pulverizes these pieces into 4-14mm particles. The resulting wet bamboo powder is dried to a moisture content of 10%-15% using a dryer, and finally, a vertical ring die granulator extrudes the powder into 4-10mm granules.

A.This process is mainly used to dry the bamboo dust from 40% to 10-15%.

High and stable calorific value: Bamboo has a high cellulose content, and when processed into pellets, its calorific value can reach 4500-5000 kcal/kg, comparable to medium-grade coal and far exceeding that of straw pellets (3000-3800 kcal/kg). This meets the high energy demands of industrial boilers, heating systems, and other applications. Complete combustion with no coking: During the processing of wet bamboo, a conditioning step softens the fibers while maintaining a porous structure, allowing oxygen to easily penetrate during combustion. The ash residue is only 2-3% (much lower than the 10-20% ash content of coal), and there are no harmful gases from the combustion of sulfur or nitrogen. It complies with national environmental emission standards (e.g., GB 13271-2014 "Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Boilers"). High density and easy storage: After being pressed by a ring die pelletizer, the density of bamboo pellets reaches 1.1-1.3 g/cm³, with a volume only 1/10 to 1/8 that of loose bamboo. This reduces transportation costs by more than 70%. The pellets are uniform in shape and resistant to moisture absorption and deterioration.
