1. The working principle of dried sawdust biomass pellet processing equipment
Sawdust biomass pellet equipment works by compressing sawdust into pellets through mechanical pressure.
Specifically, this equipment typically consists of a rotating roller and a ring die. Sawdust and other raw materials are pre-processed in the equipment before entering the pelletizing chamber. The rotating roller squeezes the raw materials through the die holes in the ring die, forming pelletized biomass fuel. This process does not require additional adhesives; instead, mechanical pressure generates frictional heat between the raw materials, which solidifies and forms the pellets.

Sawdust is originally loose and bulky (1 cubic meter of loose sawdust weighs only about 150-200 kilograms). Processing it into pellets significantly increases its density, solving the pain points of traditional biomass fuels, which are difficult to store and transport:
1. High density and concentrated energy: Pellets can reach a density of 1.1-1.3 tons per cubic meter. The energy of 1 cubic meter of pellets is equivalent to 0.7-0.8 tons of standard coal. Their volume is only 1/5-1/6 of that of loose sawdust. Storage does not require large warehouses; ordinary workshops or simple sheds can be used, saving over 50% of storage space.
2. Low transportation costs and adaptability to large-scale use: The high-density feature significantly improves transportation efficiency. Based on road transportation calculations, a 10-ton truck can transport 10 tons of pellets (approximately 8 cubic meters). If loose sawdust with the same energy is transported, 40-50 cubic meters are required, reducing transportation costs by 60%-70%. It is particularly suitable for "high-volume" scenarios such as industrial enterprises and power plants.
