1. The working principle of  wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Feed: The pre-treated straw raw materials are conveyed to the feed inlet of the pellet machine and uniformly sent into the pellet machine chamber by the feeder.

(2) High-pressure extrusion: The pressure rollers in the granulation chamber will tightly press the materials onto the ring or flat molds with mold holes (usually with diameters of 6-12mm), and the materials are squeezed into the mold holes under the action of huge pressure (usually 30-100 MPa).

(3) Cutting and shaping: After the materials are extruded from the mold holes, they form continuous cylindrical strips, which are then cut into particles of the set length by the high-speed rotating cutter, and finally cooled and transported through the cooling conveying system to complete the finished product.

2. Characteristics of  wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Synergistic effect of efficient crushing and drying: The crushing equipment can break down the tough and wet straw (such as corn stalks, rice straw) into uniform fine particles. The accompanying drying system (such as drum dryer) can quickly reduce the moisture content to the optimal forming range of 10%-15%, avoiding material adhesion or excessive drying.

3.Drying Process: 

A.This process is mainly used to dry the straw dust from 30-35% to 10-15%.  B.Capacity: 10-12 Ton/Hour.

The raw material section of the project for processing wet straw into biomass pellets - raw material recovery, ensuring stable supply

1. Recovery scope: 

Centered around the processing plant, covering farmlands within a 10-30 kilometer radius. This avoids water loss and cost increase caused by long-distance transportation of wet straw.

2. Cooperation model: 

Sign long-term purchase agreements with farmers and planting cooperatives, clearly defining purchase prices and on-site recovery services. The combustion characteristics of straw biomass pellet fuel: high efficiency, low pollution, and suitable for clean fuel demands

As an energy product, its combustion characteristics directly determine its usage value and is the core competitiveness for replacing traditional fossil fuels.

1. High combustion efficiency: 

The pellet structure is compact, and during combustion, air and fuel come into contact more fully, with combustion efficiency reaching over 85%, much higher than loose straw (about 50%) and ordinary coal (about 70%). For example, in heating, 1 ton of pellets provides the same heating effect as 1.2 tons of coal, reducing fuel consumption by 20%.

2. Low pollution emissions:

 Straw itself has extremely low sulfur content (typically <0.1%), and sulfur dioxide emissions during combustion are only 1/10 of those from coal; nitrogen oxide emissions are more than 50% lower than those from coal, and there is no black smoke or irritating odor. At the same time, the carbon dioxide produced by pellet combustion belongs to the "carbon cycle" (straw grows and absorbs CO₂, and then releases CO₂ during combustion), which complies with the "dual carbon" policy requirements and can effectively reduce carbon emissions.

3. Stable calorific value and easy control: 

The lower calorific value of pellets is usually 15-18 MJ/kg, with a small fluctuation range (±5%), while the calorific value of loose straw is greatly affected by moisture (±20%). The stable calorific value enables industrial boilers, drying equipment, etc. to precisely control temperature, avoiding production accidents or quality problems caused by fluctuating calorific value.
