1. The working principle of  wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Pre-treatment: Grinding and Drying, Solving the "Wet" Problem

This step is to prepare for the subsequent molding process. The core is to reduce the moisture content of the straw and decrease its physical size.

Grinding: Break down the straw (such as corn stalks, wheat stalks) into fine fibrous materials. The finer the materials, the easier they will be to form after compression, and the higher the particle density.

Drying: Using a hot air dryer or a drum dryer, reduce the moisture content of the wet straw from the initial 30% to 10-15%. Excessive moisture will cause the particles to become loose and prone to breakage, while too little moisture will increase the energy consumption for compression. This range is the optimal moisture content for molding.

The density of pellets can reach 1.1-1.3g/cm³, which is 15-20 times that of loose straw (0.05-0.08g/cm³). Under the same weight, the volume is significantly reduced.
