1. The working principle of  wet straw biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Pre-treatment: Grinding and Drying, Solving the "Wet" Problem

This step is to prepare for the subsequent molding process. The core is to reduce the moisture content of the straw and decrease its physical size.

Grinding: Break down the straw (such as corn stalks, wheat stalks) into fine fibrous materials. The finer the materials, the easier they will be to form after compression, and the higher the particle density.

Drying: Using a hot air dryer or a drum dryer, reduce the moisture content of the wet straw from the initial 30% to 10-15%. Excessive moisture will cause the particles to become loose and prone to breakage, while too little moisture will increase the energy consumption for compression. This range is the optimal moisture content for molding.

(2) Molding: High-pressure Compression, Achieving "Granulation"

This is the core part of the equipment. Through mechanical high-pressure, the loose materials are compressed into fixed-shaped particles.

3.Drying Process: 

A.This process is mainly used to dry the straw dust from 30-35% to 10-15%.  B.Capacity: 3-4 Ton/Hour.

This is the most obvious characteristic that distinguishes pellets from loose straw, fundamentally solving the problems of storage and transportation of straw.

1. High density, small volume: 

The density of pellets can reach 1.1-1.3g/cm³, which is 15-20 times that of loose straw (0.05-0.08g/cm³). Under the same weight, the volume is significantly reduced. For example, 1 ton of loose straw requires 20m³ of storage space, while 1 ton of pellets only requires 1m³, increasing the warehouse utilization rate by more than 95%, and significantly reducing the storage site rental cost.

2. Regular shape, easy transportation: 

The diameter of pellets is mostly 6-12mm, and the length is 5-20mm. The shape is regular and there is no dust scattering. It can be transported using ordinary trucks or bagged transportation, without the need for special transportation equipment.
