1. The working principle of dried straw biomass pellet processing equipment

The core principle of straw drying biomass pellet processing equipment is to convert low-moisture dry straw into high-density, easy-to-store solid pellet fuel through raw material pretreatment and high-pressure extrusion molding. Its core difference is that compared with wet straw equipment, it does not require a complex drying process.

2. Characteristics of dried straw biomass pellet processing equipment

(1)Wide Raw Material Compatibility

It can process not only dry straw but also a variety of biomass materials, such as rice husks, sawdust, and peanut shells. Only fine-tuning of the crushing and pelletizing parameters is required based on the hardness of the raw material.

The ring die pelletizing line automates the entire process from crushing to pelletizing to cooling and screening, reducing manual intervention and allowing a single person to monitor the entire production line.

A.The process is mainly used to grind dried straw within 1.8m in diameter into dried straw pieces. The rotary cutting mode of the outer chain of the gear, the rotary cutting rotor blade is sharp, and the blade types are various, which can be rotated to cut various bales of straw with different diameters, different thicknesses, different lengths and different water contents

This biomass pellet processing startup primarily processes agricultural and forestry waste, such as straw and forestry residues, into biomass pellets through crushing, drying, and extrusion. These pellets can be used as a clean fuel in a wide range of applications, including industrial boilers, residential heating, and biomass power generation. They can also be used to produce organic fertilizer and animal feed, demonstrating their environmentally friendly and renewable nature.

With rising environmental awareness and policy support, demand for biomass pellets continues to grow. Demand is particularly strong in northern China as a clean heating alternative. 1. Outstanding environmental attributes and strong policy compatibility

Using agricultural waste (dry straw) as a raw material, it replaces traditional coal combustion, reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by over 60%, significantly reducing nitrogen oxide and dust emissions, and complying with national "dual carbon" policies and environmental protection requirements.

The ash produced after combustion contains elements such as potassium and calcium and can be directly returned to the fields as organic fertilizer, achieving a "raw material-energy-fertilizer" cycle with zero secondary pollution.

2. Convenient storage and transportation, high practicality

The density of loose dry straw is only approximately 50-80 kg/m³, but after pelletization, it can reach 1100-1300 kg/m³, reducing its volume and saving over 90% of storage space.

The pellets have a regular shape, are dust-free, and are not easily scattered. They can be transported by ordinary trucks, reducing transportation costs by over 70% compared to bulk straw and facilitating automated feeding (e.g., into boilers and biomass furnaces). 

3. High Energy Density and Wide Range of Applications

Dry straw pellets offer a stable calorific value of approximately 15-18 MJ/kg (equivalent to 0.5-0.6 kg of standard coal). Their combustion efficiency exceeds 85%, significantly exceeding that of loose straw burning, and can meet the calorific demands of various scenarios.

They are suitable for both residential and industrial applications, including direct use in rural wall-mounted boilers for heating and household cooking, as well as fuel for industrial boilers (food, textile, and chemical industries) and biomass power plants. They can also be used as ruminant feed, adjusted to meet specific needs.
