1. The working principle of dried straw biomass pellet processing equipment

The dried straw biomass pellet processing equipment uses mechanical extrusion to compress dry straw and other raw materials into high-density pellet fuel without the addition of binders.

The equipment utilizes the compressive force and friction between the pressing wheel and the die to physically deform the dry straw under high pressure, tightly binding it together and ultimately forming it into pellets through the die holes. The raw material can be processed directly without drying, relying on the thermoplastic properties of the lignin under pressure to achieve bonding.

2. Characteristics of dried straw biomass pellet processing equipment

(1)Vertical feeding and centrifugal distribution: The vertical feeding design is used in conjunction with a rotating pressure wheel to achieve uniform material distribution and complete pelletizing in one step.

1. High density, space-saving:

The density is 1.1-1.3g/cm³ (energy pellets) or 0.8-1.0g/cm³ (feed pellets), 10-20 times that of loose straw. One ton of pellets requires only 1-1.5m³ of storage space, saving over 80% in warehouse costs compared to loose straw, making it suitable for users of all sizes.

2. Durable storage and long shelf life:

The compact surface resists moisture absorption and can be stored in a well-ventilated environment for 6-12 months (compared to only 1-2 months for loose straw), preventing mold and deterioration. This facilitates staggered production and use, reducing raw material loss.

3. Easy to transport and low loss:

The pellets are regular and dust-free, resulting in less than 3% transportation loss (compared to 10%-15% for loose straw). They can be transported by ordinary trucks, and the per-ton transportation cost is 40%-60% lower than that of loose straw, making them particularly suitable for cross-regional supply. 4. Easy to operate and low barrier to entry: Energy pellets can be supplied to boilers/stoves through automatic feeding equipment, and feed pellets can be fed directly (without chopping/ensiling). The operation can be completed by one person, saving more than 50% of manpower compared to traditional methods.
