1. The working principle of dried sunflower husk biomass pellet processing equipment

The working principle of a biomass pellet mill is to compress sunflower husks into pellets using mechanical pressure.

Specifically, the sunflower husks enter the pellet mill. Centrifugal force causes the material to continuously move in a circular motion, adhering to the inner wall of the die and forming a uniform annular layer. The pressure rollers continuously rotate and compress the material, forcing it into the die holes and extruding it outwards. Through the continuous rotation and compression of the pressure rollers and pressure plate, the material is forced into the die holes. After a certain period of pressure holding, pellets of a specific density and strength are extruded from the die holes and cut to the required length by a cutter before being pushed to the discharge port.

2. Characteristics of dried sunflower husk biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Improved Particle Hardness and Density: The equipment can precisely control the pressure of the rollers and the temperature of the die cavity, avoiding problems such as "loose particles" or "over-compacted carbonization" caused by moisture fluctuations in damp materials. The pass rate for finished particle density (1.1-1.3 g/cm³) and hardness can be increased to over 95%.

(3) Simpler Operation: No frequent monitoring is required: only pelleting parameters need to be monitored. The number of operation steps is reduced, lowering the skill requirements for operators and making it easier to learn.

(4) More Convenient Maintenance: Core components (such as the pellet mill ring die) have been reinforced for wear resistance against hard materials, making component cleaning easier and extending the maintenance cycle by 15%-20%, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
