1. The working principle of wet bagasse biomass pellet processing equipment
After the pre-treated bagasse enters the pellet machine, high-pressure extrusion + thermal effect triggers the transformation of component properties to achieve densification of the loose material.
Hot pressing molding: the natural bonding effect of lignin. The core of this path is to use about 19% of lignin (a natural thermoplastic component) in sugarcane bagasse as an "endogenous binder". The specific principle can be divided into three steps:
(1) Pre-pressing and densification: After entering the pelletizing chamber, the material is first compacted by the pre-pressing device to reduce the gap and accumulate force for high-pressure extrusion;
(2) High-pressure friction heating: The ring die and the pressing wheel (rotation speed 300-500 rpm) generate a pressure of 50-150MPa, and the friction between the materials causes the temperature to rise to 100-180℃. When the temperature reaches above 120°C, the lignin begins to soften and melt, and at 180°C it is completely plasticized, forming a sticky "natural glue."
(3) Fiber bonding and solidification: The plasticized lignin tightly bonds the cellulose and hemicellulose (which serve as the "skeleton"), while some of the water evaporates, further enhancing the plasticity. The material is squeezed through the small holes of the ring die to form a rod. After being cut by the cutter, the lignin hardens again as the temperature drops, fixing the particle shape.

2.Wet Bagasse Drying Process:
A.This process is mainly used to dry the bagasse from 40% to 10-15%.
B.Capacity:10-12 Ton/Hour.
C.TONY use 2 sets of 1.8*24m rotary drum dryer for this process, TONY hot blast stove is made of firebrick pan, shell with H steel plate as the frame. There are 3 layers of fire blocking device inside, which can effectively prevent the fire from entering the tumble dryer.Customers can choose to use waste wood, biomass pellets, natural gas, etc. as fuel for the hot air furnace

Key recommendations for the success of wet sugarcane bagasse processing biomass pellet projects
1. Start small and expand production gradually:
It is not recommended to directly go to a large-scale production line in the early stage (high investment and high risk). It is recommended to start with a small 2t/h production line first, accumulate raw material resources, customer resources and production experience, and then upgrade production capacity;
2.Bind upstream and downstream to form a closed loop:
Establish stable cooperation with sugarcane product factories and sugarcane cooperatives upstream, and give priority to connecting with "nearby customers" (such as surrounding industrial enterprises and heating companies) downstream to reduce transportation costs and improve capital turnover efficiency;

1. Environmental value: Low carbon emissions and outstanding recycling
(1) Zero net carbon emissions The carbon dioxide absorbed during sugarcane growth is basically balanced with the carbon dioxide released during combustion, which is in line with the concept of "carbon neutrality". Compared with coal burning, it can reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by more than 90% and nitrogen oxide emissions by more than 70%, making it a high-quality alternative energy source for meeting the "dual carbon" goals.
(2) Closed loop of solid waste resource utilization The ash after combustion is rich in potassium, calcium and other elements and can be used as organic fertilizer to return to farmland or sugarcane plantations, forming a circular economic chain of "sugarcane planting - sugar production - residue pelleting - combustion for heating - ash return to the field", reducing the overall carbon footprint of the industry.
2. Economic and application characteristics: significant cost advantages and a wide range of application scenarios
(1) Controllable production costs Sugarcane bagasse raw materials are mostly by-products of sugar mills. The acquisition cost is low (nearly zero cost in some areas), and the processing process consumes less energy (mainly in the drying process). Compared with wood chip pellets and straw pellets, the market price of finished products is usually 10%-20% lower, which is very attractive to small and medium-sized enterprises, agricultural cooperatives and household users.
(2) Flexible application scenarios Granular products are easy to store (can be stacked and take up only 1/3 of the space of loose bagasse) and transport (suitable for bagged or bulk transport). They can be directly used in industrial boilers (such as sugar mills for self-heating and power generation), commercial heating (such as hotels and greenhouses), home heating and biomass gasification power generation projects. Especially in the main sugarcane producing areas (such as Guangxi, Yunnan, Brazil, and India), "local materials and local applications" can be achieved, reducing transportation costs.
