1. The working principle of wet wood chips biomass pellet processing equipment

(1)Crushing stage: Preliminary crushing of wet wood chips

Before entering the pelletizing stage, wet wood chips first need to be crushed into smaller and more uniform particles.

(2)Drying stage: Removal of moisture to meet molding requirements

Wet wood chips usually have a high moisture content (up to 30%-50%) and must first be dried to a level suitable for pelletizing (generally controlled below 10%-15%).

(3)Compression molding stage: High-pressure extrusion to form pellets

The dried finely crushed wood material enters the compression system of the pelletizer and is extruded into pellets under high temperature and high pressure.

During the compression process, the natural lignin in the wood is softened by heat and acts as a binder, making the pellet structure more compact and stronger;

(4)Cooling and screening: Stabilizing pellet quality

The newly made pellets are hot and loose in structure and need to be cooled and screened.
