1. The working principle of wet wood chips biomass pellet processing equipment

Core Forming: Fiber reorganization and densification through mechanical extrusion is a key step in converting wet wood chips into pellets. The core principle is "high-pressure extrusion + wood fiber self-bonding." Lignin (a natural adhesive that softens under pressure and frictional heat) in the wet wood chips works together with water to tightly bind the fibers, forming pellets with a fixed shape.

Core component: the forming machine—the "ring die pellet machine," which is more adaptable to wet materials and less prone to clogging.

During the extrusion process, intense friction between the sawdust and the inner wall of the die and the surface of the rollers generates frictional heat of 60-90°C. This temperature softens the lignin in the wood chips (the softening point of lignin is approximately 70-100°C). Simultaneously, the water forms "liquid bridges" that bind the dispersed fibers together, providing a foundation for subsequent shaping.

Long continuous operation time: Due to the "integrated design" of pretreatment, molding, and cooling links, and the optimization of anti-clogging structure, the equipment can achieve 8-12 hours of continuous operation

Stable physical properties: 

The molded wet wood particles have high density (1.1-1.3g/cm³), high hardness (compressive strength ≥15MPa), are not easy to break during storage and transportation (breakage rate ≤3%), and have low hygroscopicity (moisture content is stable at 12%-18%), and can be stored for 6-12 =No mold growth for months;

Diverse application scenarios:

As biomass fuel: The calorific value can reach 4200-4500 kcal/kg (close to medium-quality coal) when burned, and the ash content is ≤5%, suitable for industrial boilers and biomass power plants;

After crushing, it can be used as a filling matrix for organic fertilizer, realizing "turning waste into treasure".

(4) Convenient operation and maintenance: Reduce labor and operation and maintenance costs

Intelligent control: If problems such as wet material agglomeration, blockage, motor overload, etc. occur, the machine will automatically shut down and alarm, without the need for manual 24-hour on-duty;

Convenient replacement of wearing parts: The wearing parts such as rollers and molds adopt a "quick-release structure" and have a long service life.

2.Sawdust Drying Process:

A.This process is mainly used to dry the sawdust from 40% to 10-15%.

B.Capacity:3-4Ton/Hour.

Wood pellets have a wider range of applications than traditional loose wood chips, meeting energy needs across various sectors: industrial, residential, and power generation.

Industrial: As a fuel for industrial boilers (e.g., in the food processing, textile, and chemical industries), they replace coal and natural gas, reducing energy costs. Some high-purity pellets can also be used in biomass gasification power generation and heating projects.

Residential: Suitable for home biomass fireplaces and heating stoves for winter heating. They burn odorlessly and produce minimal smoke, making them cleaner than coal and more economical than electricity (especially in rural areas of northern China, where they are widely used under the "coal to biomass" policy).
