The pellet mill is the core equipment, and its working principle is based on the extrusion of material by the pressure rollers and the die. When the material is fed into the pellet mill, the motor drives the main shaft through a gearbox or reducer, and the main shaft drives the pressure rollers to rotate. During the rotation of the pressure rollers, the material is squeezed into the holes of the die. Under the action of high temperature and high pressure, the lignin in the sawdust softens, and its cellulose molecular clusters are misaligned, deformed, and extended. Adjacent biomass pellets interlock with each other, thus automatically forming the pellets without the need for binders.
