1. The working principle of wet wood pallets biomass pellet processing equipment
The operating principle of the wet pallet biomass pellet processing equipment can be briefly described as follows: Using high-moisture waste wet pallets as raw material, the equipment transforms the loose wet material into high-density biomass pellets through four core steps: pre-treatment, crushing, nail removal, pulverization, drying, and extrusion molding. The specific process is as follows:
Pre-treatment and impurity removal: Metal nails and other impurities are removed from the wet pallets by crushing equipment, breaking the pallets into wood chips approximately 5 cm in size.
Pulverization and refinement: The crushed wood chips enter a pulverizer (such as a hammer or blade type) and are crushed into uniform wood chips with a particle size of 3-5 mm, providing the appropriate particle size for subsequent extrusion molding. Drying and conditioning: A drum dryer is used to reduce the moisture content of the wet wood to 10%-15% (the optimal moisture content for subsequent molding).
Extrusion molding: The finely pulverized wood chips are fed by a screw conveyor into a ring die (or flat die) pelletizer, where they are heated at high temperatures (heat generated by extrusion friction, reaching a temperature of 100-150°C). The biomass pellets are squeezed into cylindrical particles through the forming holes in the mold under the action of high pressure (70-100℃) and finally cut into fixed lengths (usually 6-10mm) by a cutter. After cooling, the finished biomass pellets are obtained.
