1. The working principle of wet palm nut shell biomass pellet processing equipment
The raw material falls vertically into the pellet mill and is evenly distributed on the inner surface of the ring die through the rotational motion between the rollers and the die. Under high mechanical pressure, the pressure rollers apply enormous pressure to the material, forcing the Wet Palm Nut Shell feedstock through the circular channel of the ring die. During extrusion, friction between the materials and between the material and the die generates high temperatures (up to 80°C to 120°C), softening the natural lignin of the Palm Nut Shell and making it self-adhesive, eliminating the need for additional adhesives. The resulting elongated pellets are then cut by a cutter to form cylindrical fuel pellets approximately 10 to 30 mm in length. 1. Abundant Raw Materials: Wet Palm Nut Shell is produced during the palm oil refining process by first extracting the kernel from the pulp, then removing the outer shell. This removed portion is the Palm Nut Shell, which has long been discarded, resulting in an abundant and low-cost raw material.
2. Low Ash Content: Biomass pellet fuel has lower solid emissions than coal, reducing slag costs and environmental pollution. The solid emissions from biomass pellet fuel are entirely ash, accounting for approximately 0.4% to 7.0% of the total weight; while coal combustion produces a mixture of ash, alkali, and residual coal, accounting for approximately 25% to 40% of the total weight.
3. Stable Properties and Good Storage: Palm shells have a high density , making them less prone to breakage and easy to store and transport. Their total moisture content generally does not exceed a certain percentage, and they are easy to dry quickly after getting wet. They can withstand long-term exposure to sun and rain (1-2 years).
