1. The working principle of wet palm nut shell biomass pellet processing equipment
The pellet mill is a key piece of equipment, with the vertical ring die pellet mill being the mainstream choice. Its operating principle is as follows:
(1) Static die + rotating pressure roller: Material enters the pelleting chamber through vertical feeding. The pressure roller, under centrifugal force, evenly presses the material into the ring die holes, preventing blockage.
(2) High-temperature and high-pressure molding: The material is subjected to extrusion and friction within the die, generating heat (temperatures can reach 80-100℃). Lignin softens and binds the fibers, forming cylindrical pellets with a density of 0.8-1.4 t/m³.
(3) Die characteristics: A double-layer vertical die is used, with hole diameters of 6-10 mm available. Wear-resistant materials (such as high-alloy steel) extend the lifespan, and the molding rate reaches over 99.5%.

1. Raw Material Side: Waste Conversion, Guaranteed Supply
The raw material is a byproduct of palm oil production, representing a "waste-to-treasure" transformation. It requires no additional farmland or deforestation, resulting in high resource utilization efficiency.
Major producing regions (Southeast Asia, Africa, etc.) have large and concentrated raw material output, ensuring a stable supply and avoiding the risk of supply disruptions during production, thus reducing supply chain costs.
The palm nut shell itself has moderate hardness and a uniform fiber structure, requiring minimal pretreatment. It meets pelleting requirements without complex processing, reducing losses in the production process.
2. Combustion Side: High Calorific Value, Excellent Efficiency
The calorific value is excellent, generally reaching 4600-5000 Kcal/kg, close to that of medium-quality coal, meeting the heat demands of various scenarios such as industrial boilers and residential heating.
Key indicators are controllable. After processing, the moisture content is below 8%, the ash content is less than 3%, and the volatile matter content exceeds 70%, making it easy to ignite and burn completely, with a combustion efficiency exceeding 80%, reducing energy waste.
It leaves little residue after combustion, and the ash can be recycled as potassium fertilizer. There is no harmful waste residue, which reduces the cost of subsequent cleaning and treatment.
