1. The working principle of wet sawdust biomass pellet processing equipment

The principle of wet sawdust pellet processing equipment is to squeeze wet sawdust into pellets by physical means. During the pelletizing process, the biomass sawdust raw material falls vertically from the feed port, and the rotation of the pressing roller makes the material continuously and evenly distributed on the surface of the inner cavity of the mold. Under the rolling of the pressing roller, the powdered material passes through the holes of the mold. In this process, the material is subjected to high pressure and high temperature, which causes physical changes or appropriate chemical changes, prompting the powdered material to form a continuously elongated cylindrical solid body. The pellets are then cut by a cutting knife and discharged from the discharge port, and the pellet pressing process is completed.

2. Characteristics of wet sawdust biomass pellet processing equipment

(1) Strong adaptability to raw materials, compatible with a variety of biomass

Wide processing capacity: Processable raw materials include wet sawdust, wood shavings, etc.

Clear requirements for raw material pretreatment: The moisture content of the raw materials must be controlled at 10%-15% (too high a moisture content will easily cause adhesion and mold clogging, while too low a moisture content will result in insufficient pellet strength), and the particle size is usually required to be 1-3mm.

(2)Modularization of core equipment and continuous production process

Modular combination: A typical production line consists of "drying equipment (humidification) → granulation equipment (forming) → cooling equipment (cooling) → screening equipment (screening) → packaging equipment". Each module can be flexibly increased or decreased according to production capacity requirements (for example, for small production lines, some auxiliary equipment can be omitted).

Continuous operation: Through the connection of various links such as conveyor belts and screw feeders, automated continuous production from raw material input to finished product output is achieved.

1.Sawdust Drying Process:

A.This process is mainly used to dry the sawdust from 40% to 10-15%.

B.Capacity:9-10.5Ton/Hour.

C.TONY use 1set of 3*24m  rotary drum dryer for this process, TONY hot blast stove is made of firebrick pan, shell with H steel plate as the frame.   There are 3 layers of fire blocking device inside, which can effectively prevent the fire from entering the tumble dryer.Customers can choose to use waste wood, biomass pellets, natural gas, etc. as fuel for the hot air furnace

TONY dryer use spiral tube material, and is not easy to deform.

1. Pls confirm what the raw material of the TONY pellet machine is first.

The raw material of the TONY pellet machine can be all kinds of biomass which can be burned directly.

2. Pls confirm what the size of your raw material is.

If your raw material is wood logs or wood pallets whose size is big, then you will need a wood chipper.

If your raw material is wood chips, then you will need the hammer mill.

3. Is your raw material dry or wet?

The best raw material before going into the pellet machine should be 6-14mm sawdust with a moisture content of 10-15%. If your raw material is wet, then you will also need the dryer.

4. After that, please confirm what capacity you need per hour for the finished pellets.

TONY can supply a pellet production line from 0.8T/Hour up to 100T/Hour.

5. Will you need the pellet cooler?

The temperature after the pellet machine will be about 70-80℃. It is better to use a pellet cooler to cool down the pellets from 80℃ to 20-30℃ to get quality pellets.

7. Will you need the automatic pellet production line?

If you need the full automatic pellet production line, you will need a storage bin for each process, which will surely add to your total cost.

9. What is the final size of the pellets that the TONY pellet line can make?

The diameter of the finished pellets can be 6-12 mm by changing different hole size ring dies, and the length will be 1-6 cm, which can be adjusted by the cutting knife.
