2. The bottom screen or the pipe inlet is blocked

Wood chipper bottom screen hole or local blockage of the pipeline inlet will cause insufficient air intake. Here's how to deal with it:

The reason: the wood chips are too large, and the air buoyancy generated by the fan is not enough to overcome the weight of the wood chips

Solution: Modify the chipping process to prevent large wood chips from blocking the fan blade or wind pipe elbow

Solution: Control the moisture content of the original section to ensure that its moisture content is 30-50%, and the soaked raw materials should dry the surface water before chipping

Reason: the raw material is too wet, the debris in the wood chip is easy to gradually adhere to the inner wall of the air duct, especially at the elbow, especially in winter, the accumulation of frozen, causing the air duct blockage

The solution:

Reason: The curvature radius of the elbow of the wood chip conveying pipeline is too small

Solution: The curvature radius of the air duct elbow should be greater than or equal to three times the diameter of the air duct, R>3D

Cause: The intake air volume is normal, and the air delivery pipe is not blocked, but the feed is not sent

Solution: Check whether the fan impeller is worn and whether the fan speed is normal

Cause: Fine pieces of wood were found rising out

Solution: If it can be judged that the air duct is blocked, check the outlet of the air duct, fan and cyclone separator in time
