1. Raw material characteristics

(1) Fiber structure of raw materials

The peanut shell itself contains certain fiber components, which can be interwoven and wound when subjected to pressure, providing the basic structural support for the formation of particles. For example, during the pressing process, the fibers act like a skeleton to hold the particles in a certain shape.

(2) The particle size of raw materials

Appropriate particle size is an important factor in the formation of peanut shell particles. If the particle size is too large, the gap between the particles is too large, it is not easy to form; If the particle size is too small, it may lead to too much dust, affecting the quality of the particles and the molding effect. Generally, the peanut shell after proper grinding is easier to be compacted and formed in the pellet machine.

 

2. Equipment working principle

(1) Pressure effect

The peanut shell pellet machine applies pressure to the raw material of the peanut shell through parts such as the press roll and the mold. This pressure causes the peanut shell raw material to be compressed into the die hole of the mold, and the fixed shape particles are gradually formed under the restriction of the die hole. Adequate pressure is the key to ensure that the particles are tightly formed, and insufficient pressure may cause the particles to loose or fail to form.

(2) Temperature influence

In the process of pressing peanut shell by pellet machine, due to the extrusion of raw materials, certain heat will be generated. The appropriate temperature helps to soften the lignin and other components in the raw material, thus playing a bonding role and making the peanut shell particles better formed. However, if the temperature is too high or too low, it may affect the quality and efficiency of particle molding.

3. Operating conditions

(1) Moisture content of raw materials

The moisture content of peanut shell raw materials needs to be controlled within a certain range. When the moisture content is appropriate (for example, about 10-15%), the raw material has a certain flexibility and is not too wet, which helps to form under pressure. If the moisture content is too high, it may cause the particles to stick to the equipment or easily disperse after forming; If the moisture content is too low, the raw material is too dry, the particles may not be easy to form, but also increase the amount of dust production.

(2) Feeding uniformity

Uniform feeding ensures that the peanut shell raw materials continue to enter the pressing area of the pellet machine. If the feed is not uniform, it may cause local pressure instability, resulting in inconsistent particle molding, and some places are tight and loose, affecting the overall molding effect.
