1. The working principle of wet palm nut shell biomass pellet processing equipment

The principle of the Wet Palm Nut Shell pelleting equipment is to physically extrude Wet Palm Nut Shell into pellets. During the pelleting process, the biomass Palm Nut Shell raw material falls vertically into the feed port. The rotation of the pressure rollers causes the material to be continuously and evenly distributed on the inner surface of the mold cavity. Under the crushing of the pressure rollers, the powdery material passes through the holes of the mold. During this process, the material is subjected to high pressure and high temperature, which causes physical changes or appropriate chemical changes, causing the powdery material to form an elongated cylindrical solid body. Then, the pellets are cut by the cutting blade and discharged from the discharge port. At this point, the pelleting process is completed.

2.Palm Nut Shell Dust Drying Process:

A.This process is mainly used to dry the palm nut shell dust from 40-55% to 10-15%.

B.Capacity:14-16Ton/Hour.

C.TONY use 2 sets of 2.5*24m  rotary drum dryer for this process, TONY hot blast stove is made of firebrick pan, shell with H steel plate as the frame.   There are 3 layers of fire blocking device inside, which can effectively prevent the fire from entering the tumble dryer.Customers can choose to use waste wood, biomass pellets, natural gas, etc. as fuel for the hot air furnace

This project utilizes the large quantities of Wet Palm Nut Shell generated during its processing—a resource with natural fuel properties but difficult to handle—as its core raw material. Through specialized collection, pretreatment, drying, and molding processes, it transforms this material into high-quality, high-calorific-value, clean-burning biomass pellets. This achieves the resource, energy, and high-value utilization of agricultural waste, serving the clean energy needs of industrial boilers, residential heating, and power generation, while creating significant economic, environmental, and social benefits. Wet Palm Nut Shell has a high lignin content (approximately 30%) and a good fiber structure, naturally possessing the potential to be used as a solid fuel. Its calorific value, in its oven-dry state, can reach approximately 4000-4500 kcal/kg, approaching or exceeding that of common wood pellets (4200-4800 kcal/kg). The large quantity and concentration of raw materials, along with near-zero or even negative costs (processing fees), are the core competitive advantages of this project.

1. Abundant Raw Materials: Wet Palm Nut Shell is produced during the palm oil refining process by first extracting the kernel from the pulp, then removing the outer shell. This removed portion is the Palm Nut Shell, which has long been discarded, resulting in an abundant and low-cost raw material.

2. Low Ash Content: Biomass pellet fuel has lower solid emissions than coal, reducing slag costs and environmental pollution. The solid emissions from biomass pellet fuel are entirely ash, accounting for approximately 0.4% to 7.0% of the total weight; while coal combustion produces a mixture of ash, alkali, and residual coal, accounting for approximately 25% to 40% of the total weight.

3. Stable Properties and Good Storage: Palm shells have a high density (1.1), making them less prone to breakage and easy to store and transport. Their total moisture content generally does not exceed a certain percentage, and they are easy to dry quickly after getting wet. They can withstand long-term exposure to sun and rain (1-2 years).               4. High Calorific Value: Palm Nut Shell boasts a calorific value of 4300-4800 kcal/kg, higher than common biomass pellet fuels such as sawdust, rice stalks, and straw, and burns more completely than coal.

5. Environmental Friendliness: Compared to traditional coal and heavy oil, it significantly surpasses national standards in four key indicators: smoke, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and smoke opacity. Combustion produces no sulfur dioxide or phosphorus pentoxide, and its unique chemical properties help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
