The working process of the double-layer drum dryer is generally as follows:
1. Material Preparation:
Material conveying: The wet material to be dried is sent to the feeding hopper of the double-layer drum dryer through a belt conveyor, bucket elevator or other conveying equipment.
Material distribution: After entering the dryer, the material will be reasonably distributed to the inner and outer drums according to the structural characteristics of the double-layer drum.
2. Heating And Drying:
Heat source supply: The heat source of the double-layer drum dryer can be hot air, flue gas, steam, etc. The heat source is generated by a combustion device, a heat exchanger or other heating equipment and is transported to the inside of the dryer.
3. Material Turning:
The function of the lifting plate: A lifting plate is usually installed on the inner wall of the double-layer drum. As the drum rotates, the lifting plate will continuously lift and scatter the material, so that the material forms a uniform curtain in the drum, increasing the contact area between the material and the hot air and increasing the drying rate.
4. Moisture Discharge:
Moisture discharge: The moisture in the material will turn into water vapor after being heated. The water vapor will be discharged from the air outlet of the double-layer drum with the flow of hot air. In order to ensure that moisture can be discharged smoothly, the dryer is usually equipped with a ventilation system, including fans, air ducts and other equipment to provide sufficient ventilation and exhaust pressure.
