Whether in large-scale industrial boilers or small household fireplaces, they can be directly used without equipment modification, demonstrating strong adaptability.
2. Convenient storage and transportation:
The pellets are regular cylindrical (3-10mm in length), producing no dust or odor. They can be stored in bags or in bulk, requiring no dedicated moisture-proof warehouse (moisture content <12%, natural ventilation is sufficient), and can be stored for 6-12 months. They occupy little space during transportation (only 1/6 the volume of bulk hazelnut husks), can be transported by ordinary trucks, and have logistics costs more than 50% lower than bulk biomass.
3. Low barrier to entry:
No complicated pretreatment is required. The material can be directly fed into the combustion equipment through the feeder. The operation difficulty is much lower than that of coal (which requires crushing and screening) or natural gas (which requires laying special pipelines). Moreover, the calorific value of the particles is stable, and the combustion intensity can be precisely controlled by adjusting the feeding speed.
