Due to the fact that different pellet machine manufacturers have developed different pellet machines with different technologies, structures and specifications, and different types and models produce different outputs.

In fact, there are many reasons that affect the output of biomass pellet machines. To improve the production efficiency of biomass pellet machines, it is necessary to summarize experience from practice, inspect the biomass pellet machines one by one during the production process and solve the problems. Among them, the following several factors are the conclusions drawn by the technicians of the pellet machine manufacturer in practice for your reference:

1.If the biomass pellet machine uses a new ring die during the production process, first check whether the compression ratio of the ring die matches the raw materials being produced. If the compression ratio of the pellet machine's ring die is too large, the pellets will be too hard and the output value will be low. In this case, the compression ratio of the pellet machine's ring die needs to be adjusted.

If the ring die of the granulator has been used for a period of time, it is necessary to check whether the conical holes on the inner wall of the ring die of the granulator are worn and whether the pressure roller is worn. If the conical holes of the ring die of the granulator are worn, it needs to be processed and repaired. If the pressure roller of the biomass granulator is severely worn and damaged, it needs to be replaced.

2. Check the lubrication degree of the inner hole of the ring die of the biomass pellet machine and whether the ring die is out of round. Some defective ring dies will show rough inner holes and out-of-round ring dies, resulting in the produced materials not being lubricated, uneven pellets, slow discharge and low output value. High-quality ring dies should be selected.

The gap between the ring die and the pressure roller should be adjusted properly. If the distance is too small, the pressure roller will intensify the conflict with the ring die, which will shorten the service life of the ring die. If the distance is too large, the pressure roller will slip and the material discharge will not be smooth, resulting in a low output value. The normal gap between the die and the pressure roller is 0.3-0.5mm. The correct operation method is to place the label paper of the certificate of conformity between the pressure roller and the die. It is helpful for correctly adjusting the distance between the mold and the pressure roller.

3. Keep the moisture content of the raw materials in the biomass pellet machine at around 15%. If the moisture content of the raw materials is too high, the raw materials will show mold blockage and slippage after entering the ring die. The moisture content of the raw materials should be controlled within the range of 10% to 15%.

Check the distribution of raw materials within the ring die to ensure they are evenly distributed. This not only extends the service life of the ring die but also ensures smooth discharge from the granulator.

If the biomass pellet machine does not operate smoothly and the bearings run off the outer circle, it will cause the wood pellet machine to run weakly, the current to be unstable, and the output to decrease.

The above are several relevant factors affecting the output of biomass pellet machines sorted out by TONY. We hope it will be helpful to everyone, reduce the problems encountered by users in the production process, and effectively increase the production output of users.
