However, there are a large amount of indigestive substances such as lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose in the straw. Eating it directly as feed will not only cause a severe rough and hard feeling, but will not be conducive to digestion of livestock. In order to meet the growth needs of livestock, people have now processed straw through physical treatment, chemical treatment, and microbial fermentation.
