Wood pellet machine is a biomass energy pretreatment device. It mainly uses wastes from agricultural and forestry processing such as wood chips, straw, rice husks, bark and other biomass as raw materials, and is pretreated and processed to form a high-density granular fuel. Biomass pellet machines are divided into flat-mode biomass pellet machines and ring-mode biomass pellet machines. During use, we sometimes encounter abnormal noises in the pellet machine. If the equipment is abnormal, it is very likely that it will be a major equipment abnormality and will cause inevitable damage to the equipment. Let’s take a look at the reasons for abnormal noise.

1. It may be due to the unstable delivery of biomass raw materials.

Solution: You can adjust the feeding speed first and then observe.

2. The feeding is uneven due to wear of the deflection scraper of the biomass wood chip pellet machine.

Solution: A new scraper should be replaced.

3. The ring mold and press roller of the biomass wood chip pellet machine are a combination of old and new.

Solution: In actual production, it is best to choose a new ring mold with a new press roller.

4. The gap between the ring mold of the pellet machine and the press roller is inconsistent with the produced material. 

Solution: Adjust the pressure roller gap in time.

5. The reasons for the press roller of the pellet machine are that the use of new and old press rollers together or the press rollers are worn and damaged.

Solution: Replace the press roller.

6. The formula used during production belongs to the type that is more difficult to granulate.

Solution: The formula can be adjusted appropriately to eliminate the impact.

When an abnormal noise occurs in a biomass pellet machine, you might as well first check whether it is caused by the above reasons, and then prescribe the right medicine according to the actual problem!
