The pre-treated wood chips (with a moisture content of 10% - 15% and a particle size < 5mm) are conveyed into the pelletizing chamber by the conveying device.

Under the action of centrifugal force, the rotating pressure roller closely adheres to the inner wall of the ring die, squeezing the wood chips into the holes of the ring die.

The material is shaped under high pressure and extruded from the ring die hole to form cylindrical particles, which are then cut to the set length (usually 5 to 30mm) by a cutter.

Roller and ring die: Core components. The material of the roller is mostly wear-resistant alloy, and the diameter of the ring die hole determines the particle size (commonly 6 to 12mm).

Conditioning device: Some models are equipped with a steam conditioning device to soften wood chip fibers and enhance the particle formation rate and hardness.
