1. Before starting the biomass pellet machine, thoroughly clean and inspect the entire unit. Check that the drive belt tension is appropriate and that the drive bearings are securely tightened. Then, connect the power and observe the motor to ensure it rotates in the direction indicated by the markings.

2. Check the gap between the pressure rollers and the die plate; it should generally be between 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm. This can be adjusted using the pressure roller's "tightening screws."

3. During the test run, use 15 kg of powdered material—sawdust is ideal. Feed the material in and compress it repeatedly for about 15 minutes. If material fails to extrude, clear the die holes by driving a steel nail through them (hold the nail with pliers; do not use a sharp-tipped nail—it is best to grind the tip flat). Resume compression until pellets are produced normally. If using a custom formula fails to produce pellets, clear the die holes, apply some oil to the die surface, and repeat the process. Once pellets begin to form, add fine construction sand and continue compressing for another 10 minutes or so until normal output is achieved.

4. The length of the pellets produced by the machine can be adjusted by changing the vertical position of the cutter.

5. To replace the die plate, remove the feed hopper and material barrel, detach the pressure rollers and cutter, unscrew the main shaft nut, and use the provided "puller" tool to lift out the flat die. (The die plate is reversible; generally, it should be flipped over after processing 25,000 kg of material.)

6. To ensure safety, always disconnect the power supply and turn off the machine before removing the lower housing cover or touching the pressure rollers and die with your hands or tools.

7. After producing 10,000 kg of pellets, remove the pressure rollers to clean and service the machine. Perform a comprehensive maintenance check and lubrication every six months.

8. A grounding device must be installed for the motor to prevent electric leakage or short circuits. When using the motor, select the model appropriate for the biomass pellet machine; the customer must install an overload protection device on the motor's power supply line.
