Recently, TONY received a call from some customers to inquire about whether biomass pellets are allowed to burn and use. Below, TONY Company will sort out the relevant content for you to analyze:
Many customers have formed a one-sided understanding that biomass fuel cannot be burned directly, so biomass pellets are also highly polluted fuels and are not allowed to use combustion. In fact, this statement is wrong.
First, we must distinguish the difference between biomass fuel and biomass pellet fuel.
Secondly, it is necessary to distinguish the difference between biomass pellet fuel combustion and biomass direct combustion.
1. Biomass fuel refers to the combustible raw materials of plants and wood, such as trees, straw, and various bacterial residues.
2. Biomass pellet fuel refers to a biomass pelletizing fuel made from crop straw or wood materials as raw materials and processed through a straw granulator and wood pellet machine.
3. Direct combustion of biomass refers to the direct combustion of combustible biomass waste or biomass raw materials without processing. During the direct combustion process, a large amount of smoke and dust are easily generated to pollute the atmosphere.
4. Biomass-based pellet fuel combustion is the combustion of processing raw materials into solid fuel. Through the control of the production process and production links, the combustion process does not produce smoke and dust and does not pollute the atmosphere.
So, why can biomass pelletized fuel be burned by pellet machine?
1) The carbon content is low, and the carbon content in biomass fuel is only about 50%.
2) The hydrogen content is slightly higher and the volatile substances are significantly increased. Most of the carbon in biomass combines with hydrogen to form low molecular weight hydrocarbons. At a certain temperature, volatile matter decomposes and precipitates, and biomass fuel is prone to ignition.
3) The oxygen content of biomass pellet fuel is much higher than that of coal, making the biomass fuel burn more fully.
4) The fuel density of biomass pellets is significantly lower than that of coal, the biomass fuel is loose and flammable, and the residual charcoal in the ash is smaller than the residual charcoal in the coal ash.
5) The sulfur content is low, the sulfur content of biomass fuel exceeds 0.12%, and the boiler does not need to install a desulfurization device.
6) The carbon dioxide released by biomass is very low and can be considered zero carbon dioxide emissions.
7) The ash after biomass burns can be used to make fertilizer. For example, common straw pellets
8) Biomass can be mixed with coal to improve combustion efficiency (the national green energy policy does not allow this method).
9) The combustion of biomass pellets can achieve the reduction, harmless and resource utilization of biomass waste.
10) The biomass pellet fuel is dried before entering the straw granulator, avoiding the embarrassment of heating and drying due to humidity. Therefore, smoke and vomiting will not occur, and air pollution will be very small.
You only need a TONY pellet machine to turn these common agricultural and forestry waste into treasures. Our biomass pellet machine production line equipment is equipped with dust removal equipment, which also ensures the cleanliness of the environment during the production process.
