Biomass pellet machine is very compatible with raw materials, especially crop straw, such as rice husk, wheat, peanuts, corn, rice and other straws, which are suitable for granular machine processing and production. The raw materials are available but they cannot be directly put into machine processing and production. This is because the collected straw generally contains high moisture, and the finished product after processing is high humidity and is not easy to burn. Customers can choose to dry and then feed it to a pellet machine for processing or use drying equipment to dry the materials until the moisture content is 10-15%.
In order to produce high-quality pellet fuel, we must not only have high requirements for the pellet machine specially used to process pellets, but also have certain requirements for the processing raw materials of the equipment. We can all know from the types of equipment that there are many types of raw materials, so what are the specific requirements?
Conditions for direct granulation by pellet machine: 1. The material size must be appropriate 2. The material moisture must be appropriate
1. Different raw materials have different moisture requirements. Usually, the pellet machine requires that the raw material moisture cannot exceed 15%.
2. The granulation of the pellet machine requires that the larger size of the raw materials shall not exceed the diameter of the mold hole.
3. Do not add iron, stone and other hard objects into the raw materials, otherwise the equipment will be damaged.
4. The raw materials can achieve high-quality granulation effect without any additives. However, in order to improve the yield and greatly extend the service life of wearable parts such as ring molds and press rollers, it is recommended to use adhesives reasonably.
5. Try to use soft wood chip raw materials to make pellets. Many softer wood chips are easier to press and can effectively improve the molding rate.
6. The moisture content of the raw material for pressing wood chip pellets is between 10% and 15%. If the moisture is too high, the pressed pellets will be loose and easily dissipated during packaging and transportation. If the moisture is too low, it will make it difficult to press the pellets, the pellet forming rate is low, and there are too many powdered materials.
The above is the requirements for raw materials of the pellet machine, which mainly focus on the humidity, size, and hardness of the raw materials. However, there are many types of raw materials that the equipment needs to process, such as common wood chips, feed, crop straw, etc. They perform differently in these three aspects, and we need to understand their standards in more detail.
