1. Lubrication per Shift (8-hour production cycle)
Pressure roller bearings: Add high-temperature No. 2 lithium-based grease every 4 hours until it slightly overflows;
Replenish grease to the main shaft bearings and conditioner bearings every shift to prevent dry grinding and bearing burnout due to insufficient oil;
Check the gearbox oil level for leaks and emulsification/whitening.
2. Short-Term Regular Maintenance (200 hours)
Completely change the gearbox oil during the first 200 hours of operation for new machines; thereafter, change to heavy-duty gear oil every 1000–1500 hours and clean the oil filter screen;
Clean accumulated material in the granulation chamber, unclog all blocked die holes, and use a special drill bit to enlarge and polish dead holes;
Tighten all bolts on the machine base, ring die clamps, and pressure rollers to prevent vibration from loosening and causing component impact.
3. Quarterly/Annual Overhaul (1500–3000 hours)
Disassemble and inspect the entire machine for wear and clearance of the spindle, couplings, and gears; Replace aged oil seals and other sealing components to prevent oil leaks; Clean the motor cooling ducts and dust and moisture-proof the electrical control cabinet to prevent short circuits and motor burnout.
